| Description | Two memorial plaques honoring those who died in the first World War. At the top of each tablet is a bald eagle standing on a ribbon banner that reads "Honor Roll." Flanking each side of the banner are the dates "1917" and "1918." Below that in all capital letters is "Those who made the supreme sacrifice in the World War from Allen County and Fort Wayne / April 6, 1917, to November 11, 1918." In smaller print below that are the names of individuals and their rank, age, and date of death. The first image shows names beginning with the letters A through Ja and the second image shows an identical tablet with last names beginning with the letters Ju to W. |
