| Description | SUNRISE, a stern-wheel packet with wood hull (180 ft. x 36 ft. x 5 ft.), was built at Howard in 1897. Owned by Red River Line, she operated on the Mississippi River between New Orleans and Vicksburg. SUNRISE burned at New Orleans, Louisiana on April 25, 1902. |
