| Description | A.D. ALLEN, a stern-wheel packet with wood hull (125 ft. x 23 ft. x 3.5 ft.), was built at Howard in 1901. She operated on the Arkansas River initially and, after being sold to U.S. Engineers in 1910, on the upper White River. A.D. ALLEN was retired around 1930. |
