| Description | CITY OF HICKMAN, a side-wheel packet with wood hull (285 ft. x 44.5 ft. x 9.5 ft.), was built at Howard in 1890. Owned by Anchor Line, CITY OF HICKMAN operated on the Mississippi River between St. Louis and New Orleans. She sank on August 23, 1896 and salvaged machinery was used on the CITY OF CINCINNATI. |
