| Description | GOLD DUST, a stern-wheel packet with wood hull (170 ft. x 34 ft. x 5 ft.), was built at Howard in 1901. Owned by Louisville & Evansville Packet Co., GOLD DUST operated on the Ohio River between the two cities. She burned and was lost on her third trip to Galey's Landing near Alton, Indiana in 1901. |
