| Description | ELIZA, a stern-wheel towboat with wood hull (110 ft. x 25 ft. x 3.1 ft.), was built at Howard in 1896. Owned by Belmont Coal Co., ELIZA operated in the Bellaire, Ohio area. After being sold in 1902, she operated in the Pittsburgh area and then later near Evansville. ELIZA was dismantled around 1920. |
