| Description | STEEL QUEEN, a stern-wheel towboat and ferry with wood hull (125 ft. x 28 ft. x 3.5 ft.), was built at Howard in 1901. Owned by Pressed Steel Car Company, STEEL QUEEN operated on the upper Ohio River in the McKees Rocks, Woods Run and Bellvue, Pennsylvania area. She burned at Woods Run, Pennsylvania on October 16, 1926. |
