Description
Address : 815-827 W . Market Street , Louisville , Kentucky . A multi-story industrial building dwarves the two- to four-story buildings surrounding it . "Stimpson Computing Scale Co. " is painted on the front of the building . An embossed sign says , "National Cap Mfg . Co. " On the side of the building a sign advertises "Sherman & Sons Clothing Makers " and a tower has the words "Moses Rothschild Co. " painted on it . Next door is a smaller building advertising "W.H . Harrison Vulcanizing. " Utility lines run down the street and a smokestack rises in the distance . The Snead Building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978 .
