Description
Address : 3005 River Road , Louisville , Kentucky . On the right , the Louisville Water Tower stands 169 feet tall . The base is surrounded by Corinthian columns and the water standpipe is enclosed within a Doric column . This architectural theme is continued with the building behind it which also has Corinthian columns and Greek-influenced pediments . The darker buildings to the left are made of brick and have slightly-peaked half-moon dormer windows . The water tower was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1971 .
