Description
A piano at Federal Hill , also known as "My Old Kentucky Home " located in Bardstown , Ky . The piano has decorative features including a floral inlay above the keys and curved legs with grapes and floral designs . A piece of sheet music is atop the piano and a short rounded stool sits in front of the piano . To the right of the piano is an armchair . The carpet is floral and thick curtains hang on the windows . Federal Hill was owned by the Rowan family , whose cousin , Stephen Foster , composed "My Old Kentucky Home. " The house is on the National Register of Historic Places , and is now part of My Old Kentucky Home State Park ; Foster's song is the Kentucky state song .
