FIFTH ANNUAL INTER-RACIAL SESSION GREAT Report Of Findings Committee Fair To Both Races The fifth annual Inter-racial Conference for Kentucky was in many respects the best yet held. The popular meeting Friday night, December 12th addressed by Mrs. Maud Henderson, Atlanta, Ga., and Dr. R. R. Moton, principal of Tuskegee Institute, was more largely attended than any similar meeting. The auditorium of the Warren Memorial Presbyterian Church was packed with probably an additional two hundred people in the balcony, half white and half colored. Mrs. Chas. B. Semple introduced Mrs. Henderson and Col. Callahan, presiding officer, introduced Dr. Moton. Dr. Moton was at his best and made a profound impression. The following are some of the subjects discussed: "Are Our Negro Teachers Afforded Equal Facilities for Training With Our White Teachers?"; "To What Extent is Race Prejudice Responsible for the Housing Conditions of Negroes" and "Would Race Relations be Improved by a Division of Negro Vote between the Political Parties?" The report of the Findings Committee which will appear in the next issue of The Louisville Leader, will be found fair to bth races and constructive in a high degree. The only thing done thus far, however, has been the changing of the conductor to another car on the same line. Mrs. Dillard has placed the case into the hands of attorneys.
