Spanish-style house with hedges covered in orange flowers . There are also bushes with purple flowers . The house has striped awnings on the windows . Text printed on the back reads , "What lovelier flower could we choose / To represent the 'Sunshine State ' -- / What cheerier welcome give to you / Than these bright blossoms at our gate. " Postmarked 1938 on verso . The number "815 " is printed by the title of the card ; it also bears the manufacturer's number 2A-H605 . Published by Florida Post Card Co. , printed by Curt Teich & Co . Manufacturer's number dates the card to 1932 .
