Description
Woman in a full-length pink dress , carrying a white parasol , walks down a path through a woods . There are fallen leaves along and beside the path . Jacob's Park is now known as Iroquois Park . The inscription on the verso reads , "Jacob Park is more like a forest than a park ; its superb , shady trees , standing singly and in open groups , are distributed naturally upon an undulating greensward ; in autumn , the trees , when changed into brilliant scarlets , orange tints and golden browns , present a scene as wondrous as is to be found in any park in America. " Published by Raphael Tuck & Sons , series 2405 , "Louisville , Ky. " Dates to the turn of the 20th century .
