Description
Copy portrait of a young woman likely a member of the Ripy family of Lawrenceburg , Kentucky . The Ripy's established a distillery who emigrated from Ireland to Kentucky in the mid-1800s . The young woman wears a light colored off-the-shoulder dress with a ruffle along the top and dark straps . The copy was created in 1919 , but the portrait appears to be earlier , possibly around 1910 .
