Description |
The interior of Kehoe's Grocery shows a long counter on the left. Behind the counter and on the right side of the store are shelves filled with canned goods. The counter itself contains numerous bins, possibly filled with grains and nuts. A Stimpson scale sits on the counter as do many jars and products. At the back of the room is another counter and glass case with a scale nearby. On the back wall are three signs. One reads, "Vote for [?] Thompson for Sheriff." The next reads, "Mothers and wives patronize local industry [?] Buy [?] Local Independent Dealer [?] Opportunity for your family." The third sign indicates "J. K. Long Sheriff." Some of the goods include: Big Dandy bread, National Flake Butters, Staley's syrup, National Biscuit Company, boneless herring, Fortune egg noodles, Premler pears, Quaker oats, Kellogg's, Pilgrim supreme cookies, and Hellmann's Mayonnaise. |
