Description
A nurse from the Frontier Nursing Service arrives on horseback at a two-story log cabin . She holds a barefooted infant on the saddle in front of her. A crowd of mostly women and children stand in a semi-circle around her. The photograph was taken at either Wendover , Kentucky or Hyde , Kentucky , according to the invoice .
