.
Along
one
side
of the
room
the
women
work
at
sewing
machines
which
are
built
into
desks
. In the
middle
of the
room
long
tables
are
placed
end
to
end
and
women
work
on
laying
out
fabric
. On the
far
wall
is
an
open
cabinet
built
into the
wall
that
shows
stacks
of
fabric
bolts
.
Most
of the
women
wear
dresses
and
some
have
aprons
.
One
woman
holds
a
baby
in her
arms
.
One
Caucasian
woman
stands
near
the
table
at the
back
of the
room
