Title	Broadway and First Street, Louisville, Kentucky, 1927.

Description	On the southeast corner of Broadway and First Street in Louisville, Kentucky stands the Frank Aufenkamp Delicatessen. A sign painted on the side of the building indicates groceries, bakery goods, lunches, and fruit are also sold. To the left is a Piggly Wiggly grocery store with two signs with the number 9 posted in the window. Next door is the Kennedy-Shrader Co. which also has a sign painted on its brick wall. Another sign advertises, "Used Car Dep't. / Better Cars Lowest Prices / Lowest Down Payment. Monthly Payment. 'Best Service in Louisville'." There is a smokestack on top of this building. Further down is another brick wall sign reading "Don't say 'Ice Cream' - Say National Ice Cream / It means so much more / Made with real cream" with an image of a boy eating an ice cream cone. A number of cars and a truck are parked along the side of the streets which are marked with white solid and dotted lines. Utility poles, a street lamp, a fire hydrant, and a water fountain are also visible along the street.
