Description	Facing west overlooking the waterfront of Louisville, Kentucky, this scene shows riverboats docked on the Ohio River. The Fourteenth Street Bridge crosses the river to Indiana. Railroad cars and tracks can be seen along the Louisville side of the riverfront. Signs indicate some of the businesses, including Belknap Hardware and Manufacturing Company and Acme Paper Stock Company. Next to the smokestacks is a sign facing the river which reads, "The Gateway to the South / Louisville Gas & Electric Co."
