Title	Sixth and Main Streets, Louisville, Kentucky, 1926.

Description	Trolley tracks cut across the cobblestone at the corner of Sixth and Main Streets in downtown Louisville, Kentucky. At 532 W. Main, the corner building houses the State Board of Health of Kentucky as well as the State Tax Commission Office and the Kentucky Society for Crippled Children. The Ionic columns and pediment, which repeat throughout the building's design, place it in the Greek Revival style. This building no longer exists. Next is the building for Jno. J. Schulten & Co., shoe sellers. The building has ornate carvings between each floor with the top floor windows having bi-partite arches. Just under an ornately sculpted pediment on the roof the numbers "538 & 540" are carved, probably indicating the original building numbers, although by 1926 this building was listed as "530". Next door is the Louisville Wall Paper Company advertising wholesale wall papers, paints, and supplies.
