Description
The Kenyon building located at 112 5th St . in Louisville , Ky . The stone and brick building , designed by architect Mason Maury in the Richardsonian Romanesque style , has large plate glass windows on the first floor and an ornate ironwork piece in the arched entryway . The second story includes tri-partite windows inside three large arches . A turret spans several stories along the left side of the building . The first floor houses the Royal Typewriter Company . Next door to the right is a sign that reads "Commonwealth Life. " In the right foreground is a partial view of a sign that reads "Stand[ard] Oil Produ[cts]. "
