Description
The Rialto Theatre , located at 616 S . 4th St. , Louisville , Ky . The building features ornamental bas-relief designs . The entryway to the theater includes an inset area with a ticket booth . The marquee advertises the film Notorious starring Cary Grant and Ingrid Bergman . Below the marquee are movie posters and banners for the film . Above the marquee is another light up sign that reads "Notorious Ingrid Bergman. " Built by Joseph & Joseph Architects , the Rialto opened in 1921 , closed in 1968 , and was demolished in 1969 . Next to the theater is a Kay Jewelers .
