Description
A copy photograph of the interior of a theater near the front stage . An iron rail extends around a small put with a piano , drum set , chairs , and trunk . In front of the railing are rows of seating . The stage has its safety curtain down and the word "Asbestos " is written across the curtain . The walls are ornately decorated with scrolls and landscape scenes . The copy was produced by Caufield & Shook but the original photographer and location are unknown . The copy was requested by the Logan Company of Louisville , Ky . who likely produced the ironwork . The company was founded in 1876 and was originally known as Dow's Wire Works Co . until it changed to Logan Co . in 1925 . They produced ornamental iron , fences , bedding , furniture , and fire equipment . The company ceased business in 1994 .
