A copy photograph of a tall iron gate . Behind the gate is a horse drawn carriage and a truck . A watermark at the bottom of the photograph reads "B'ham View Co . / #24435. " The Birmingham View Company was located in Alabama . The copy was produced by Caufield & Shook and was requested by the Logan Company of Louisville , Ky . and is likely a rail produced by them. The company was founded in 1876 and was originally known as Dow's Wire Works Co . until it changed to Logan Co . in 1925 . They produced ornamental iron , bedding , furniture , and fire equipment . The company ceased business in 1994 .
