Title	Welsworth Hotel, Louisville, Kentucky, 1939.

Description	Address: 728 W. Broadway, Louisville, Kentucky. The Welsworth Hotel was built in the Italianate style. Its pediment and eaves have modillions supporting them and the arch above the entryway has dentils under it. Notice the changing shape of the windows from one floor to another. The first floor windows are rounded rectangles with door having an arch; the second floor windows are arched with a Palladian window in the center; and the third floor windows are rectangular with an arched window in the center position. Likewise, the decorations adorning the corner of the building change from floor to floor. The facade of the building is stone, but the side and likely the rest of the building is brick. On the side of the building is sign giving the rates as $1.00 and up for a single and $2 and up for a double. The building next door appears to have a giant clock on its side.
