Title	Fourth and Walnut Streets, Louisville, Kentucky, 1939.

Description	Location: Fourth Street and Walnut Street (now Muhammad Ali Boulevard), Louisville, Kentucky. A crowd of people cross the street towards Thompson's Restaurant and Baker's Shoes. A canopy extends from a building, partially covering the sidewalk. Street lamps stand at regular intervals along the curb. A number of cars drive or are parked along Fourth Street. Across the street, signs can be seen for Rodes-Rapier Co. in the Starks Building, as well as Curly Top Beauty Salon, Busath's Candies, Florsheim Shoe, Appel's Timely Clothes, Bond, Boston Shoe Co., Will Sales, Stewart's Dry Goods, and more. Utility lines criss-cross above the street. The Stewart's Dry Goods Company Building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. The Starks Building was added in 1985.
