Description	Address: 427-437 S. Fourth Street, Louisville, Kentucky. This showroom of the Kaufman-Straus department store shows displays lamps, cookware, candle holders and other home goods. As the picture was commissioned by the Acme Lighting Fixture Company, it is likely that the photograph's high angle was an intentional attempt to show the ceiling light fixtures in the showroom. The Kaufman-Straus Building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.
