Description
A suitcase style wind-up portable phonograph record player sits on a draped surface . The label inside the lid reads "Playwell/Belknap Hdw . & Mfg . Co./Louisville , Ky. " The crank projects from the front of the case , within the carrying handle . Two latches are on either side of the handle . There are several dials or levers and an open grille on the surface of the open player . The needle rests on a phonograph record with a Gennett label . The recording is the song "Got Myself Another Jockey Now " from the musical Keep Shufflin ', by Thomas Wright "Fats " Waller and Andy Bazaf .
