Description	The Levy Bros. store at 235 W. Market Street in the heart of downtown Louisville is shown with cloth canopies protecting its first floor display windows. A suspended canopy framed with glass globes covers the main entryway on Market Street. Cars are parked along the street as pedestrians, bicyclists, and other cars use the street. In the foreground of the image the cap of a man can be seen next to a trident-topped sign with the word "Stop" on it. Next to Levy Brothers is Simon Stavinzky Broker & Loan. The sign painted on its brick wall includes the three-balled symbol of a pawn shop. The Levy Brothers Building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.
