Title	Igorata wedding dance.
Description	A row of men in loincloths dance behind one another, banging on metal drums. Handwritten twice at bottom of photo: Igorata Wedding Dance. The Igorots come from the Cordillera region, in the Philippines island of Luzon; since the World's Fair in St. Louis, Missouri was held shortly after the conclusion of the Spanish-American War (1898), which brought the Philippines under U.S. rule, the large Philippine Exhibit was intended to expose fair visitors to the people and resources of the protectorate and to acculturate Filipinos to the U.S. Stamped on lower left corner: 4975. Stamped at lower right corner: Copyrighted 1904 Louisiana Purchase Exposition Co.
