Description
Old State House in Frankfort , Kentucky , which served as the state capitol building for much of the nineteenth century and now houses the Kentucky Historical Society . The marble Greek Revival building , featuring columns and a dome , was designed by Gideon Shryock . A cannon is positioned in front of the building , and a car and two young boys wearing hats can be seen on the street .
