Title	Heigold House, Louisville, Kentucky, 1936.
Description	Heigold House, home of G.W. Huber, engraver, 264 Marion Street, Louisville, Kentucky. Close-up of recessed entrance and entrance steps, two side windows, and above the entrance, information commemorating George Washington with the words "George Washington, the first president of the United States, the man whose greatness has never been surpassed, to whom Americans thank their freedom and the world owes its love and esteem." Above the writing is a section of marble embossed with people in the center and ribboned garlands with stars in them at the sides. Above the left window, within a square, is a slightly larger marble garland with "Th. Lamlein" written in the center. The Heigold House was built by Christian Heigold, a German immigrant and stonecutter, between 1857 and 1866, in an area known as The Point (now part of Butchertown).
