Dodd " is below the house . The house has been identified as being Dodd's house at 5226 Linwood Drive , Los Angeles , California . William James Dodd (1862-1930) was an architect who came to Louisville , Kentucky , around 1886 . As a partner with Arthur Cobb , Dodd designed the Fourth Avenue Methodist Church , Samuel Garbfelder house , Atherton Building , Masonic Temple/Strand Theatre , and the Louisville Presbyterian Seminary (now Jefferson Community College) . Dodd is also credited with designing St . Paul's Episcopal Church . He worked with Frank Andrews on the Seelbach Hotel . As a partner with Kenneth McDonald , Dodd designed the Lincoln Building , the First Christian Church , Alfred Brandeis house , and the Louis Seelbach house . He moved to Los Angeles in 1913 . Black ink . Signed Ainslie Hewett with two-digit year 26 .
