Description |
Bow and port side of packet ALEX PERRY, under construction before her stacks were installed, at the bank of Ohio River at Howard Shipyard. ALEX PERRY, a stern-wheel packet with wood hull (149.9 ft. x 28.5 ft. x 3.5 ft.), was built in 1891. Owned by Capt. Tom C. Ryman, ALEX PERRY operated in the Nashville area. She burned, along with W.L. HORTON, when the wharf-boat at Evansville, Indiana caught fire on April 18, 1896. |
