Description |
Port stern view of BONANZA unloading people at Howard Shipyard in Port Fulton (now Jeffersonville), Indiana, prior to launch of the CITY OF LOUISVILLE, which is on ways on left side of photograph. BONANZA, a side wheel packet with a wood hull (267.5 ft. x 42.8 ft. x 6.7 ft.), was built in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1885. She was owned by the White Collar Line and operated primarily between Cincinnati and Portsmouth, with occasional trips to other places, including Memphis. BONANZA was dismantled in Cincinnati in 1909. |
