Description |
Upper yard at Howard Ship Yards and Dock Company in Port Fulton (now Jeffersonville), Indiana in 1889. According to the photographer's notes, the picture shows the "paint shop - oakum shed - the little building is Tom McDunn's shop and the brick building is outh end of blacksmith shop where Andy Dustin and Jos Dustine worked. The man on the left is Thos. Dunford, moulder." The stern wheel packet on ways may be TELL CITY (Way #5327). |
