Title	Corps of Engineers Quarter Boat No.1 launch, 1894.

Description	Barge sliding off the ways and onto the Ohio River at Howard Shipyard in Port Fulton (now Jeffersonville), Indiana. According to the photographer's notes this is "U.S. Quarterboat no. 1" presumably one of four quarterboats built in 1894 for the U.S. Corps of Engineers in St. Louis.
