Description |
VALLEY QUEEN under construction at the bank of the Ohio River at Howard Shipyard. VALLEY QUEEN, a stern-wheel packet with wood hull (192 ft. x 35.8 ft. x 5.6 ft.), was built in 1889. Owned by Captain George W. Rea, VALLEY QUEEN operated on the Red River between New Orleans and Shreveport, hauling cotton. She burned in March, 1903. |
