Description
Jilson Setters (a pseudonym for James William (J.W.) Day , 1860-1942) takes a break from playing the fiddle to write something on paper . His fiddle leans against his chair , and the typewriter used by Jean Thomas sits on a chair facing Setters . Both chairs are outdoors , surrounded by trees and plants . Setters (also known as "Blind Bill Day") had been blind for most of his life , but recovered his eyesight following an operation . Title supplied by cataloger .
