Title	The home of Mr. George Long, and is about 13 miles out on the Bardstown Road. Known as the Glen Mary Farm and was built by Dr. Theodore D. Elliot, who sold this farm to Charles Hall, then to Mr. Dennis Long, September 18, 1861.

Description	Front view of the house at Glenmary Farm. The single story house has a wrap around front porch supported by narrow columns. The entrance is flanked by two sets of shuttered windows. The center of the roof has an attic window. A 1940s model car is parked in front of the house and the fender of another car is in the lower left foreground of the image. The house was located off Bardstown Road in Fern Creek, Ky. The house was built in the 1850's by either Colonel George Hancock (the earliest known owner of the land) or Dr. Theodore Elliot, who purchased the land from Hancock in 1854. It was purchased by Dennis Long in 1861. The last resident of the house was U.S. Magistrate George Long who sold the property in 1988 to be developed into what is now Glenmary subdivision. It was at one point used as the Glenmary Country Club clubhouse.
