St . John Boyle was born in Danville , Kentucky , in 1847 , son of General Jeremiah T . Boyle and grandson of Judge John Boyle , chief justice of Kentucky . He was educated in law at Harvard University , returning to Kentucky to practice law . He was a leading corporation lawyer in Louisville and related by marriage to the leading families of Kentucky . He died in 1906 in French Lick , Ind. , and was buried in Danville .
