Portrait of Harry Mann , who went on to manage the Knickerbocker Theatre in New York in the late 1890s . He wears a suit jacket and white tie with stickpin . His hair is in a side part , and he has a mustache connected to long sideburns . "Macbeth " the last in a six-day series of performances starring Louis James and Marie Wainwright , was staged at Macauley's Theatre on October 8 , 1887 , the date of Harry Mann's inscription , although there is no indication that he had a connection to that production . Autograph on mount verso , upper center : Harry Mann , October 8 , 1887 . Location of photo studio : Louisville (Ky.) . Title supplied by cataloger .
