Portrait of comedy duo McIntyre & Heath , who performed at Macauley's Theatre in "The Ham Tree " (February and December 1906 and November 1913) ; "In Hayti " (December 1909) ; and "Red Pepper " (January 1923) . McIntyre , wearing a three-piece suit and necktie , is crouched at left , while Heath , wearing a three-piece suit with bow tie , leans his arm on a wooden stand at right . Their autographs appear on their own hands . Inscription on print : Best wishes To Col . John Macauley - James McIntyre , T . K . Heath . Location of photo studio : New York (N.Y.)
