She is wearing a high-collared dress with brass buttons and a brooch in the shape of a knot , and large hoop earrings . She is turned slightly more to the left than her sister is in Helena's matching portrait (ULPA 1980.20.0235) . Annotation on mount verso , upper center : Mrs . Chas . E . Evans Minnie French .
