" Born circa 1879 in Hertfordshire , England , she married Gus Pitou , Jr . and appeared at Macauley's Theatre in "Colinette " and "Vanity Fair " (January 1902) and "The Lion and the Mouse " (February 1907) . She died September 11 , 1952 , in New York City . Annotation on mount verso : Gertrude Coghlan as Becky Sharp in Thackary's [sic] Vanity Fair . Location of photo studio : Columbus (Ohio)
