organized

musical
comedy
troupe
Salsbury's
Troubadours

which
performed
at
Macauley's
theatre
on
October
30

4
,
1876
and
October
7-12
,
1878
. In
1884
, he
became
co-owner
of
Buffalo
Bill's
Wild
West
Show
,
which
toured
Great
Britain
in
1887
,
perhaps
explaining
the
inscription
on the
mount
: "
Nate
Salsbury
after
escape
to
England.
" He also
performed
at
Macauley's
Theatre
in
four
other
productions
between
March
1884
and
December
1886
.
