Description	Portrait of actor Maclyn Arbuckle looking to his left, wearing a double-breasted suit jacket and striped bow tie. His hair is parted in the middle and curls slightly at the sides. Arbuckle was born July 9, 1866, in San Antonio, Texas, and died March 31, 1931, in Waddington, New York. He appeared at Macauley's Theatre in "Men and Women" in January 1893 and in "Why Smith Left Home" in October 1898 and February 1900. Arbuckle returned to Macauley's on March 29 - April 3, 1909 to play the role of Sheriff "Slim" Hoover in Edmund Day's "The Round Up." Inscription on print, upper right: To Jack, Sincerely Maclyn Arbuckle Oct. '98. Location of photo studio: Columbus (Ohio)
