Description	Full-length character portrait of Mitzi Hajos seated on an upholstered bench, wearing a sleeveless velvet dress with patterned stockings and high heels, with a feather boa behind her. Hungarian-born actress Magdalena Hajos performed as Mitzi Hajos in vaudeville, comedies, musicals, and operettas, including Henry W. Savage's production of "Head Over Heels" (by Jerome Kern and Edgar Allan Woolf), which premiered in New York in 1918 and subsequently played in Macauley's Theatre in late February 1919. Mitzi also appeared at Macauley's in "Spring Maid" (March 1912); "Sari" (March 1915); "Pom-Pom" (November 1916); "Lady Billy" (December 1921); and "Magic Ring" (March 1924). Annotation on mount verso, lower center: Mitzi, star of Henry W. Savage's new play with music "Head Over Heels." Coming To Macauley's Theatre Feb. 27, 28, 29. Location of photo studio: New York (N.Y.). Title supplied by cataloger.
