Description |
McMurray Hall, the school's first building, erected in 1899. It was named after H. L. McMurray, a Baptist preacher from Kansas, who helped found Mamre Baptist College which became Oneida Baptist Institute. Originally a one-story square with projecting wings on either side of a porched doorway, the wood frame building was expanded and a second floor was added in 1903. Fire destroyed McMurray Hall on January 12, 1916. |
