Title	Hattie Cochran's home in Pewee Valley, Kentucky.
Description	Flowering shrubs line the walkway leading to Hattie Cochran's home on Maple Avenue in Pewee Valley, Kentucky. Hattie was the real-life model for the character Lloyd Sherman in the Little Colonel books written by Annie Fellows Johnson. This house is believed to be the one the author had in mind as the home of the fictional Sherman family when they first moved back to Lloydsboro Valley, before moving into Locust with the Old Colonel. Handwritten on verso: "Hattie Cohran's [sic] house, Maple Ave., Pewee Valley" by someone other than Kate Matthews. Title supplied by cataloger.
